lack of exercise

My thighs are aching from over-exertion. It's been like 2 yrs since I last exercised so vigorously, so I think my body is acting up like a rusty machine. hahaha. anyway after my mum saw my most recent picture and said that i was catching up to her weight, I felt really really bad. I mean my mum has the right to be "round" cos like she has given birth to 2 daughters and she's not that young anymore...but I have put on 5kg since I came back to perth this year! OMG! it's unbelieveable.
so...I decided to go for fitness classes in my school gym with my friend. 1st, went for combat class last wed...my heart felt weird and I had to take breaks in between...feel so lousy but its been so long...so yeah...then work on sat was esp tough, since it was aussie Father's day on Sunday. well, let's jus say i didn't get to have lunch till 2.30pm. then after shopping on sunday, my friend decided to go jogging in the evening. and i was like "should i go or not? hmm..." but in the end, i remembered my mum's comments and decided to go. sighs...told u my body was rusty...i ended up with very sore thighs today...and to think that i agreed to go gym with my friend tmr already...WAH!!! hope all this pays off in the end man...
and like the combat instructor said," summer is coming and we should all have nice bods to show..." sighs...shake head...
